Ric Kemp, owner of The People’s Meeple Board Game Café, is excited to be opening the doors of Huddersfield’s latest innovative and alternative venue in the town centre this winter.

Describing the vibrant new addition to Huddersfield’s food, drink and entertainment offering, Ric says: “The café’s going to based right in the heart of the town centre so it’s easy to get to and easy to find. We’ll be providing a contemporary and welcoming place for locals, professionals, students and families to come along to eat, drink and play.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with a range of charities and businesses in the area, as well as supporting our friends from other local like-minded enterprises. Our café will be focused on providing great quality food and drink sourced from local suppliers.

“We’re really excited about opening our doors in December and we’re looking forward to getting to know our neighbours in the town over the coming months as we prepare for our launch event towards the end of the year.”

Aiming to open its doors to the public in December, The People’s Meeple will be open from 10am to 11pm. It will offer a progressive and innovative entertainment environment, promoting a safe and inclusive setting in which everyone can enjoy modern board gaming. At the same time, customers can enjoy great quality food and drink, with a menu offering delicious dishes suitable for all dietary requirements.
